Plant Synchro Deck Profile

Hello everybody! As I promised a few days ago, here I am with a Deck Profile featuring the Plant Synchro Deck. It is the build of the deck that I used a few days ago at a tournament pretty successfully.

Monsters (21):
3x Reborn Tengu
3x Tour Guide from the Underworld
2x Thunder King Rai-Oh
2x Effect Veiler
1x Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning
1x Sangan
1x Maxx "C"
1x Debris Dragon
1x Dandylion
1x Lonefire Blossom
1x Spore
1x Glow-Up Bulb
1x Tragoedia
1x Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
1x Caius the Shadow Monarch

Spells (13):
2x Pot of Duality
2x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Enemy Controller
1x Pot of Avarice
1x Mind Control
1x One for One
1x Foolish Burial
1x Monster Reborn
1x Dark Hole
1x Book of Moon
1x Heavy Storm

Traps (6):
2x Solemn Warning
1x Solemn Judgment
1x Mirror Force
1x Trap Dustshoot
1x Call of the Haunted

Extra Deck (15):
1x Stardust Dragon
1x Black Rose Dragon
1x Scrap Dragon
1x Orient Dragon
1x Ancient Fairy Dragon
1x Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1x Colossal Fighter
1x Armory Arm
1x Formula Synchron
1x T.G. Hyper Librarian
1x Ally of Justice Catastor
1x Number 17: Leviathan Dragon
1x Leviair, the Sea Dragon
1x Number 39: Utopia

The Deck is pretty consistent as it is and Pot of Duality helps a lot with that. It combines Synchro Summoning with Xyz Summoning, in order to unleash its mightiest combos, and it can also achieve victory by Normal Effect Cards like Caius the Shadow Monarch or Black Luster Soldier - a game-winning card during this format. Effect Veilers and Maxx "C" are essential to block your opponent from big plays and maintain control. The Tour Guides are really basic in this build, since they help you search your deck for almost anything, through Sangan, or Xyz Summon into one of the two fearsome Dragons with absolutely no cost. This is all I believe I had to say about the deck, since I have already explained almost everything, in my previous Articles concerning the deck. Below you can find some pictures of it (I'm sorry for the quality, I'll work on that in the future).

The Plant Engine
The Tour Guide Engine
The Black Luster Engine
Lonefire Tengu Combo (Pre-Combo)
Lonefire Tengu Combo (Post-Combo)
The Sword and the Plant Combo

Thank you all for reading! Stay tuned for more deck profiles! YCS Columbus Overview is coming soon, as well!

  1. Hello sir!
I did not name the price of each card, since this is a simple Deck Profile, not a 'Budget' Deck Profile! Here, I just present the deck I used some days ago and talk about a few things concerning it. However, if you are interested into creating a deck like this, using that particular build, you should know that just a Tour Guide playset will cost you more than 400 dollars!

Thank you for commenting, I truly appreciate it!
