Plant Synchro - The Combos - Trishula

Hello everybody! I hope you all had/are having a nice Saturday! We're here with another article regarding the Plant Synchro deck. As we mentioned in the last article, we'll start discussing about all the unique combos that the deck can bring out. Today we will start with Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, and the different ways to unleash it easily, with the use of just a few cards.

Trishula is an Ice Barrier monster which can prove to be game-winning, if you manage to successfully Synchro Summon it. Not only can it remove a monster from your opponent's hand and field, thus making him go -2, but it can also stop a potential Black Luster Soldier Summon, not to mention its stunning 2700 ATK! Let's start seeing the most easy and common ways to unleash it, using just two cards of the Plant Synchro Deck per time!

Foolish Debris
This is the first way to Synchro Summon Trishula, by using only two cards: Debris Dragon and Foolish Burial. The combo is pretty simple. All you have to do is activate Foolish Burial, and send Dandylion to the Graveyard. In this way, 2 Level 1 Fluff Tokens will be Special Summoned on your side of the field. Afterwards, you just have to Normal Summon Debris Dragon, who will Special Summon Dandylion from your Graveyard. The result? 4 monsters that equal 9 stars.

Dandyspore
As you may have understood, what's needed to pull this combo off is having already summoned Spore or Dandylion and holding a Spore or Dandylion. The combo is pretty simple. You Normal Summon the second monster (if you have a Spore you Normal Summon Dandylion and vice versa) and use them both to Synchro Summon Armory Arm. Dandylion was sent to the Graveyard, so you get to Special Summon 2 Fluff Tokens. You then use Spore's effect in the Graveyard, by banishing Dandylion, and you Special Summon it, this time as a Level 4 monster. All you have to do now is use a Fluff Token, Spore and Armory Arm to Synchro Summon Trishula!

Revived Blossom
For this combo you will need a Lonefire Blossom and either a set Call of the Haunted or a Monster Reborn at hand. You first Normal Summon Lonefire Blossom and tribute it for its effect, Special Summoning Dandylion. Then, you activate COTH/Reborn and Special Summon the Blossom back. You use its effect again, this time tributing Dandylion, and Special Summoning Spore from your deck. Dandylion was sent to the grave, so you get 2 Fluff Tokens. Your current field is: 2 Fluff Tokens, Spore and a Level 3 monster (Lonefire Blossom). Does this ring any bells? It's similar to the situation above, so all you have to do is Synchro Summon Armory Arm using Lonefire and Spore, then use Spore's effect to bring it back and in the end Synchro Summon Trishula! And this time you don't even have to remove your priceless Dandylion!

These are the 3 most easy ways to Summon Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier by using just two cards. While using the deck, countless opportunities will be given to you to Summon this fearsome monster, but these are the three most common ones!

See you all in the next article, in which we'll talk about Reborn Tengu!
Until then,
- Adreus.
