Card Profile - Dark Highlander

Today we'll be presenting you a really unique card that has never been on the spotlight, despite being rather decent. It's the Dark Highlander, a Synchro monster which would provide much assistance during the upcoming format. Let's have a look at it!

Card Description
1 Fiend-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Fiend-Type monsters
Neither player can Synchro Summon. Once per turn, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls that is equipped with an Equip Card. Destroy all Equip Cards equipped to that monster and inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed.

Level 7
ATK: 2800/DEF: 2300

Now, does this card's Type ring any bells? That's right! All Dark World Monsters are Fiend Type! This Level 7 Synchro Monster is the beatstick you'll need in a tough situation with your dark world monsters, when Black Rose Dragon is not strong enough, or you have already used him! Did your opponent stop your Raven-Sillva/Goldd Combo? No problem! You still have next turn to Synchro Summon that monster! But being a beatstick and a great defender is not all that card does. If you read his effect, you will realise that, even if the Equip Card part will be kind of useless, the other one will prove to be your key to victory! What makes Archlord Kristya so special, is not only the fact that it can Special Summon itself really easily, but also the fact that it stops Special Summoning, thus limiting your opponent's moves and chances of eliminating the card!
That means that you can consider Dark Highlander as a Dark World Kristya, even if it stops Synchro Summons only! Pretty nice and useful, isn't it?
